NEWS (New practice video posted under projects.)  We are currently chin-deep in our project "Color Under The Bridge." This piece is a fantasy short penned by Mike Biaselli. It's the story of a troll in trouble and the kids who help him out. Production is well under way and shooting should wrap sometime in August. We would like to say a special "thank you!" to Carolyn Avis, our artistic director and Maria Privito, our SFX/makeup director, both of whom have been instrumental in our endeavor, and without whom this project would still be in pre-pro limbo. Thank you, ladies!!! UPDATE! - JANUARY 2009 After a slow start, editing for "Color Under The Bridge" is in full swing. There's a considerable learning curve for this type of film, but Mike and Scott are hoping for a late spring / early summer release. (Fingers crossed, please!) "Shoot Out Of Luck" is currently in the rewrite / pre-production stage. Producer David Von Roehm has signed the legendary Peter Bogdonavich to direct. Tangent is very much looking forward to working on this project in the coming months. The SaintSinner Entertainment project, "Hush" has been renamed "The Quiet Ones" and is nearing release. Watch for details. Off On A Tangent Productions is also helping out with the Ningun Films production of "Shoot Out Of Luck," a feature currently in pre-production scheduled to shoot summer/fall of 2008. Check back for the trailer. Last summer (2007) OOATP worked along with Ningun Films on the SaintSinner Entertainment production of "Hush." The psychological thriller is in the final stages of post-production and is beinged considered for distribution. Check out the teaser:  ABOUT

of OOATP, Mike is a skilled cinematographer and the director
on most of our projects to date. Mike is also our "ideas man"
and
is usually working on a couple of screenplays at a time.
Scott Parker  Tangent's
Vice President, Scott is often the producer on projects and handles
most of the editing. He also deals with most of the promotion and
communication including the website.
Dave Von Roehm  Dave is
the most experienced filmmaker of the group and a fantastic "go-to" guy
to help figure things out. He also teaches film at The chARTerTECH
High School for Performing Arts and heads up Ningun
Films.
Jay Wasley |  PROJECTS A music video we shot for practice using a song called "Random Rules" by The Silver Jews. Mike Biaselli directed, starring Thom Hartnett, camera - Jay Wasley, edited by Scott Parker. Our friend Jay Glover made this video from a practice shoot with a camera jib. Check out the documentary "The Final Days Of Full Circle Records," written and directed by Mike Greene, a JerseyRain production. This is the story of the decline of the independent record store, specifically Full Circle, the birthplace of Off On A Tangent Productions. Mike and Scott are prominantly featured in this production.
